A three-day wiretap course is designed for law enforcement officers who are or will be involved in wiretap operations. The course will help law enforcement professionals develop solid cases and dismantle drug trafficking organizations (DTO's). Investigators, Narcotics Agents and Task Force Agents/Officers should be able to obtain and successfully conduct a wiretap investigation. This course will allow experienced and inexperienced law enforcement professionals to learn how to conduct a wiretap investigation from the beginning to the end.
Court-Authorized wiretaps are an essential tool for conspiracy cases that attack the leadership of drug trafficking organizations (DTO) and to be able to successfully dismantle them. Wiretap evidence is so captivating that most cases end in guilty pleas.
This class will prepare law enforcement individuals to be the affiant and/or case-agent on a federal or state wiretap. The course is an introduction to the tools available and strategies useful to investigators who will use wiretaps and other forms of electronic surveillance in such cases dealing with narcotics, money laundering, human trafficking and racketeering.
This class is for both local and federal law enforcement officers and supervisors who will be conducting long-term investigations.

Classes will be held Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Dress is business casual.
