Sergeant John Combas - Winter Park Police Department


Combas brings 18 years of law enforcement experience, with a decade dedicated to specialized narcotics enforcement. His background includes service with the Winter Park Police Department Street Crimes Unit, the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation (MBI), and the DEA’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Group.


Throughout his narcotics career, Combas has successfully operated in an undercover capacity on local, national, and international drug trafficking investigations. His work has taken him undercover in Florida, New York, California, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.


A certified instructor with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Combas is passionate about equipping officers with the tools and techniques required for high-risk, high-impact assignments.


His outstanding service has been recognized multiple times:


Combas was named Officer of the Year by both the Winter Park Police Department and the Fraternal Order of Police, and he received the prestigious Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer of the Year – Narcotics award from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Eric Collado

Eric Collado - Ocoee Police Department (Ret)


Eric Collado brings extensive frontline experience to Specialized Training Consultants, having dedicated the majority of his law enforcement career to narcotics enforcement and undercover operations.


He began his specialized work as an undercover narcotics agent with the West Orange Narcotics Task Force (WONTF), focusing on street-level narcotics and vice cases. His expertise later led to an assignment with the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) unit under the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation (MBI), where he conducted complex undercover operations related to narcotics, vice, and organized crime.


While at MBI, Collado served in multiple roles on wiretap investigations—including co-case agent, wire room monitor, and field surveillance officer. His experience expanded further when he was assigned as a cross-sworn agent with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), working in the narcotics smuggling division at Orlando International Airport.


Throughout his career, Collado also conducted undercover operations for several federal agencies, including the FBI, ATF, DEA, and ICE, solidifying his reputation as a trusted and highly skilled operative in multi-agency environments.
