Five-Day Advanced Undercover Operations Course

Course Overview:

 This intensive five-day course is designed for law enforcement officers currently working in or preparing for undercover assignments. The training provides critical skills and tactics essential for successful undercover operations, blending classroom instruction with realistic, scenario-based exercises to simulate “real-life” field experiences.

• Undercover investigative techniques
• Selection process for undercover operatives
• Pre-operational mindset and preparation
• Team member roles and responsibilities (surveillance, rescue, and support teams)
• Planning and executing undercover operations
• Long-term operations and undercover intelligence gathering
• Basic surveillance techniques
• Use and management of informants
• Women in undercover operations
• Psychological effects on the undercover officer and their family
• Complacency risks and situational awareness
• Technical and recording equipment use
• Evidence collection and documentation
• Professional undercover reporting and documentation
• Courtroom preparation and testimony
• Prosecutorial guidelines, legal regulations, and entrapment issues
• High-risk considerations and risk management
• Cover story development and backstopping
• Undercover weapons
• Maintaining operational focus: “Lust for the Bust” mindset

Course Fee:
$695.00 per person

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  Dress code: casual—students are encouraged to dress as they would during undercover operations.

Travel & Accommodations:
Out-of-town attendees are responsible for their own lodging arrangements.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least seven days prior to the start of the course to receive a full refund (minus a $25 service fee per attendee) or to receive full credit toward a future course.
