John Combas

Instructor

Sergeant John Combas has 18 years of law enforcement experience to include ten of those years specializing in narcotics. Narcotics experience with the Winter Park Police Department Street Crimes Unit, the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation, and with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Group. Sergeant Combas has successfully worked local, national and international drug trafficking cases in an undercover capacity during his tenure as a narcotics agent.

Sergeant Combas is a certified instructor with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).

Sergeant Combas has been recognized as Officer of the Year twice by the Winter Park Police Department. Sergeant Combas also received the distinguished award from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer of the Year - Narcotics.

Eric Collado

Instructor

Eric Collado - Ocoee Police Department (Ret)

Collado primarily spent his law enforcement career in narcotics. Collado worked as an undercover narcotics agent for the West Orange Narcotics Task Force (WONTF). 

After a few years of primarily working street level and prostitution cases, Collado was assigned to the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) for the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation (MBI). At MBI he was assigned primarily as an undercover narcotics agent to include VICE and Organized Crimes investigations. 

During his tenure at MBI, Collado worked wiretaps as a co-case agent, as a  wire room monitor and conducted surveillance out on the field.

Collado was later assigned as a cross sworn agent with Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) narcotics smuggling division at the Orlando International Airport. 

Collado worked  numerous undercover cases for other agencies, including undercover work for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Immigration Custom Enforcement (ICE).
